Frequently Asked Questions

  • What does a tune-up include?

    We inspect and lubricate all moving parts, check spring tension and cable condition, test safety sensors, balance the door, and flag anything that looks like it'll need attention soon.

  • Can I add a second door to the Essential plan?

    Essential covers one door. If you have two doors you want covered, Plus or Premier is the right fit — and you'll get extra tune-ups and a bigger discount to go with it.

  • What happens if I cancel?

    Your plan and all benefits end at the close of your current billing period. Your labor warranty will no longer be active after that point.

  • Is this available for commercial doors?

    Ascent Care is designed for residential garage doors. Give us a call to talk through options for commercial properties.

  • Do I have to be home for the tune-up?

    Yes — a technician will need access to the garage. We'll work with you to find a time that fits your schedule.

  • What if I move or sell my house?

    Plans are not transferable to new homeowners, but you can cancel at any time. If you're moving to a new home in our service area, reach out and we'll get you set up at the new address.
